British bulldog groomsman+ Beer stein holding competition +Drop Kick Murphys = one kick @ss bride and groom!
September 24, 2016, Millie, AJ, and their little British bulldog, Lebowski walked down the aisle and made it official in front of friends and family. After a whirlwind romance AJ proposed to Millie one year later, at New Jersey's annual hot air balloon festival.
Weddings are extra special when the couple adds their personal touches. After a quick bridal photo session at St. John's Episcopal Church, we walked to downtown Somerville NJ where Tapastre was having their annual Octoberfest celebration. Millie had organized a stein holding competition for the bridal party! Either they have great friends or they are both really strong, because the bride and groom were the last two holding up their giant steins!
We met up with the rest of the guests at Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough NJ, where AJ and Millie had prepared yard games like a giant Jenga, Farkle and Corn-Hole to get their guests nice and thirsty, and they spent the night rocking out to their live band who played songs by Jimmy Eat World and ending on "I'm Shipping out to Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys.
