Laura & John
"If we were meant to stay in one place, we'd have roots instead of feet, he said. " -Rachel Wolchin
Laura and John have known each other for over 10 years. They were introduced by a mutual friend and Laura immediately had the hots for John and would subtly hint, "Is John coming? " "My, is John handsome!".
Their lifelong adventure began with a kiss, to finishing university, to a new life together in Australia, where the strength of their relationship really showed. They always put each other first and had each other's best interest at heart, their bond growing stronger for it. John fell in love with Laura's free spirit, caring and fun-loving personality. And John has a great ability to make Laura laugh when she's down, smile when she needs it, and hold her hand when she needs direction.
They said their vows with the breeze of the Atlantic Ocean and the Canarian sun on their faces, in front of their nearest and dearest at the Restaurante La Caleta, in Puerto Calero Lanzarote.
Between the ceremony and the reception, we snuck off to the wine region, La Geria to take some other-worldly images in the volcanic lava fields of the National Park of Timanfaya.
It was a pleasure meeting this lovely couple, who I admire very much for grabbing life by the horns. Thank you for the honor of documenting your special day, I look forward to following your adventures!
